Visitors to this Cumbria beach say it is 'virtually deserted' and a 'hidden gem'

Tripadvisor users have been leaving mixed reviews of Haverigg Beach, near Millom, with some airing thoughts about pebbles, soggy sand and the fact the sea appears to disappear when the tide goes out.
